Recon Energy has a strong commitment to provide excellent service to all of our customers and visitors of this Web site, including respecting your concerns about privacy. The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you what personal information Recon may collect from you, the use of such information, and the choices you have regarding the use of, and your ability to review and correct this information. Visitors who browse this Web site may do so on an anonymous basis. The site is not configured to collect any information from your computer without your input. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, service and billing address(es), pass code, phone number(s), email address(es), credit card information, meter number(s), or other personal information. Whether or not to provide such information is completely your own choice. However, electing not to provide the information requested, you may be unable to purchase products, or enroll for certain services, offers and content on Recon’s web site. Recon will use your email address to send confirmations and, if necessary, might use the other information to contact you for help in processing your requests.

This Web site is not intended for minors and Recon does not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifiable information from minors. Recon urges parents and guardians to participate in their children's online activities and use parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise their access to the web.

Use of Information

Recon uses the personal information you provide for internal purposes, such as confirming and tracking your order or registration, analyzing trends and statistics, informing you of new products, services and offers, and providing you with information to serve you better. Updating Information/Opting Out

If you prefer not to receive information or would like to update your contact information, please call Recon at 1-800-576-9374 or by sending an email to customercare@PowerHouseTX.com. Please be sure to include your email address, mailing address, full name, and specifically what information you do not want to receive. Recon’s intention is only to send you email communications that will be useful to you and that you want to receive. At your sole choice, you may join the email distribution list by providing your name, postal and email address. In some instances, Recon may use a third party e-mail service provider to send emails. This service provider is prohibited from using your email address for any purpose other than to send Recon-related email. Anytime you receive an email about special offers or promotions you will be provided the choice to opt-out of future emails. Please note that any requests to remove or update your personal information may take up to 6-8 weeks to complete your request.


Recon takes precautions, including use of sophisticated encryption and authentication tools, to protect the security of your provided personal information. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Policy Changes

In the event Recon needs to change our privacy policy in whole or in part, those changes will be posted here. Those changes will go into effect immediately.
